FAQs
What does it actually do?
It shines gentle red light into the nostril for a few seconds at a time. That's the whole mechanism — there's no heat, no medication, no moving parts.
We'd rather point you to the research than make promises on its behalf. Intranasal light therapy is an active area of study, and the picture is genuinely interesting, but the trials were run on registered medical devices rather than on this one. What we'll tell you plainly is what it is and what it isn't.
Can I stop taking my antihistamine?
No — and please don't, on the strength of a product page.
This is a comfort device, not a medicine, and it isn't a replacement for anything your GP or pharmacist has recommended. If you want to change what you're taking, that's a conversation to have with them.
How do I use it?
Charge it with the USB cable. Blow your nose first, then insert the tip gently into one nostril — it should sit comfortably, never forced — press the button, and repeat on the other side.
Morning and night is the usual routine. Consistency matters more than session length.
Can more than one person use it?
We'd strongly suggest one device per person. This goes inside the nose, and sharing one between a household is how bugs get passed around.
Wipe the tip with an alcohol wipe before and after every use, and let it dry. If more than one of you wants to use it, get the two-pack.
Is it safe?
Used as directed, for short daily sessions. Never force the tip — it should sit comfortably just inside the nostril. Don't look directly into the light. Stop immediately if you feel any pain, stinging or irritation.
Don't use it if you have a nosebleed, an active nasal infection, recent nasal surgery, or nasal polyps. Speak to your doctor first if you're pregnant, taking photosensitising medication, or being treated for any condition affecting your nose or sinuses.
This is a comfort and wellbeing device. It isn't a medical device, it doesn't treat or cure any condition, and it isn't a substitute for medical care. Persistent congestion, facial pain, one-sided blockage or blood-stained discharge should always be seen by a doctor.
What's in the box?
